'Situated in a beautiful garden this is a hidden gem. Furnishing is a bit worn and old fashioned button lots of ambiance. Waking up with a view on te sun rising over te ocean is super! A healthy breakfast is delivered tot your room. It was too cool to have It on the terrace but with the french door open It was still a very good start of the day! '

'Prima verblijf. Mooie omgeving/tuin. Ontbijt heerlijk, maar relatief laat (start 8:30), ook door-de-week. Moest op tijd weg, maar dat wordt dan prima opgelost, vers fruit, sap, yoghurt, etc. avond vantevoren in koelkastje op kamer. Helemaal goed!'

'This is a wonderfully maintained and, perfectly located near a couple of our favorite restaurants. The walk down to the water was enjoyable everyday and it's only a roughly 30 minute walk to more of the touristy parts of Monterey, like the aquarium and Cannery Row. Breakfast was great. I'd recommend getting to breakfast a little earlier than the rest of the house, as it gets fairly crowded quickly. This is now our go-to place to stay in that area. '
