'Dockside was an absolute gem in the best location. The amenities were great, the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, and the property and yacht we stayed on was incredible. Truly a 5* experience and we will absolutely be staying here as often as we can when we're in Long Beach.'

'We LOVED this hotel. Character meets location. The staff were all SO friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well updated for a building over 100 years old (ie. enough plugs, efficient AC). Obviously, there are quirks with such an old building (stairs, less water pressure, etc.), but worth it for the charm. Expect a noisier experience with this location but again, so worth it to be situated in the very heart of Newport beach life. We LOVED it! Breakfast is great, rooftop patio...

'It was my lack of in-depth investigation that I didn't realize all of the rooms on the property were upstairs. My room including the bathroom was no bigger than my guest room and bath at my personal residence which is a smaller room. There was only 1 hard back chair to sit on and no table, desk, TV tray anything in the room that one could sit comfortably on and eat, read, or use your computer.
