'The place was spotless and very clean. It is a newly renovated property and I think the owners are still adding to it. Plenty of room. Very easy walk to downtown and the shops/restaurants. No regrets in staying there.'

'Amazing does not even touch how this property is. We are already planning our next trip!'

'Very clean and well appointed. The interior of the property was updated yet it retained a lot of the original architectural features, which was very nice, Would highly recommend staying there!'

'Beautiful old farmhouse. Gorgeous saltwater pool. Nicely appointed bedrooms. Very close to historic gettysburg. Very quiet, peaceful. Loved the farm animals. My children especially loved the barn cats. We did not want to leave. Thank you.'

'The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. 'We used Applewood Landing as a home base for a few days while we explored nearby Gettysburg. Most attractions we only about a 10-15 minute drive. The home was gorgeous and well appointed. Plenty of towels were provided to enjoy the pool and hot tub and all the light switches were labeled, which was very helpful.Highly recommend'

'Absolutely wonderful place. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood with beautiful scenery.'

'This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay.'

'We came to Gettysburg for three days with family. The house was absolutely adorable with historic charm and modern amenities. This is a great location with lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. The host was super prompt and helpful with any questions. We absolutely would stay here again!'
