'Stayed downtown while attending an event at the convention center and the surrounding area. Good: Apt was very nice- clean and well set up, bed was good, plenty of dishes and coffee provided ++ Bad: The stairs up are really steep, so take that into account if you book. The areas is a little sketchy, but no one ever bothered us. Parking (provided lot) is a little bit of a walk away, but never had a problem and no one bothered the car. 'Check in process was difficult with the batteries on the key box dead, so we were instructed to get a key from the mailbox out front. Host asked us to retrieve packages which were delivered for them. My dad who was staying there couldnt sleep very well with a lot of noise upstairs at night'

'5 stars for the host, but 1 star for the building itself. The apartment itself was fine but could not keep out the smell of the building where there's clearly a lot smoking. The host was very accommodating however and is clearly trying her best to make this a nice place to stay.'

'A strong smell of smoke pervades the building, and is still strong in the unit itself. The smell stuck to my clothes after I left.The dryer was not functional so it wasn't possible to do laundry in the unit. Additionally, the hot water in the shower lasted for only a few minutes. The smell, no usable laundry and not being able to take a comfortable shower made for an uncomfortable stay. 'A great 2-night stay in Richmond. The apartment was great: clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The host was extremely kind, helpful and responsive - made it super easy! Located near the museums, convenient to downtown, airport and Universities. Very nice, safe neighborhood. Will book again next time I am in town.'

'We were in town for a basketball tournament and this rental was great. We enjoyed dinners at a few local restaurants (Three Notch'd Brewing, Bingo Beer Co and Gus' - would recommend all 3). The rental was clean, well stocked with coffee and snacks, and quiet. Hasan was a great host, checking in multiple times, providing some local information, and even offered to assist getting bags out to the car when checking out.
