'This is an older property but for what it’s worth the price is its location and location. Staff are helpful and friendly. It’s relaxing and with awesome ocean views.'

'As all of Mendocino's Inns are old houses, so were the 3 "Inns of Mendocino." We had a cottage suite in the back of the Packard house. It was walkable to restaurants, shops and the Headlands trail. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning in a picnic basket. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't have breakfast the second morning as it comes late between 8:30 & 9 am. A nice charcuterie and wine hour is in the main house but only for an hour and we missed it. Fresh warm cookies are there...

'Immaculously maintained and very quaint. Breakfast is out of this world. The chef has indeed put a lot of thought into the breakfast presentation, with local flowers. A great early 19th-century experience. Walking distance to a few great restaurants, in particular, Trillium and MacCallum. A very satisfying stay.'

'Beautiful room and views. Breakfast was nice too. Staff were great. Kitchen could use a dish towel and a serrated knife. Small fridge seemed to be overheating and not very cold. Grounds could use some maintenance. Not trying to be knit picky, just thought it should be better for the lofty price.'
