'The room was clean and beautiful, overlooking the white mountains. I guess I didn't read the fine print because we were expecting some dining option. Sylvesters for dinner and the Market for breakfast were not far away. The coffee/beverage bar in the lounge is extraordinary. Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming. The host was quite welcoming and attentive....

'Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting. My partner and I entered the lobby and found it warmly lit, with a sign expressing regrets that no one could be there to greet us (we were arriving late at night). On the front...
