'What a wonderful stay we had! We were in Groveland for seven nights, and our only regret was that we were not staying longer. The house is nestled in a way that it has complete privacy. It has a view to the lake which makes sitting out especially pleasant. 'My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days during my daughter's winter break. It had everything we needed to manage the little ones, cook, relax, and have fun. There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore.'

'It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway.'

'We enjoyed our stay. Love the decks! My complaint is that the rungs of the railing that line the loft, which overlooks the family room, are not up to code. They are spaced too far apart. We have twin two year old grandchildren and everytime they ventured up the stairs we had to stand by the railing so they wouldn't go by it, because they could have potentially fallen through them to the family room below. I wanted to warn other future renters, with small children, of this danger.'

'Property was very comfortable for the six of us. Enjoyed the outdoor space a lot. Home was clean and an easy walking distance to town. Would love a few more wine glasses and metal kitchen chairs not the most comfy. Also would like some cleaning supplies to clean kitchen table etc. Had a wonderful weekend and look forward to a return visit. Thanks to our hosts.'

'The place was pretty much as advertised. The new reality with post-covid rentals is that there are essentially no condiments outside salt and pepper, so bring your own. The electric stove was problematic as the two burners stopped working while we were cooking. Discovered they were not plugged in all the way and that fixed it.
