Het luxueuze Icon Brickell resort is ontworpen door Philippe Starck, met uitzicht op de baai, met een prachtige spa en een fitnesscentrum, natte en droge sauna's. Het wordt omringd door de Miami Circle National Historic Landmark, een klein park en de Miami River.

Nice property and location with a few downsides.

The location and property are fantastic. Unfortunately, the pictures that were advertised were not accurate as it was smaller with the couch pressed up against the window close to the bed. The furniture was a bit beat up but clean. The kitchen and bathroom were nice.

Nice stay for my 30th Birthday

I enjoyed my stay! Building is clean, beautiful and security was a #1 concern which meant a lot to me. Location is great because it’s in the middle of everything. Room is in building connected to “The W”. Everyone was friendly from the property area to all the shops, restaurants and bars near by. I even was able to enjoy some of “The W” amenities and grabbed a delicious latte in their lobby. Only thing is the shower wouldn’t get hot enough for me in my unit and I wasn’t able to enjoy the amenities on check out day because they already had checked me out before 11am in the system. But as I communicated this and was ensured that it would get addressed accordingly. Other than that communication for me was a 10/10 and that’s the most important thing to me.

Beautiful unit in a great location

Great option for a business trip to Miami, with beautiful views from the room balcony and the pool deck. The location felt very safe, even at night for a single female. The rental team was always so prompt to reply to my emails, and very helpful when I had to check in several hours late due to flight delays. Room is very clean and well equipped. If I travel back to the area, I’d definitely pick this unit again!

Check in took longer than expected. Did online check in but at property process was a bit slow as computer system was down. Because of time could not get amenities access cards. Shower very low water pressure, tub have water jets that would randomly come on and shut off during showers - control was covered with white type duck tape. Could not stop the operations. The one blanket that was found - smelled like hadn’t been washed prior to our arrival.

A leisurely quick trip

I loved everything about the stay. Very secure. Close to everything. The pool area was amazing and very relaxing. Plenty of seating availability at the pool. Contact with the property manager was a easy as a text. The view was nice. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony night and day. A lot of eateries close by. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed facility. Plenty of restaurants. Check in was chaotic. Parking information was not clear and consequently very expensive. I came for work so did not have time to check out sites but looks entertaining.

Building Nightmare

DO NOT STAY! Let me just preface this review by saying that the host will most likely respond to this review and downplay our issues, but I assure you this was the worst experience I’ve had with any rental property. First, when we were checking in, I paid in the lobby. After paying we were being escorted up to our apartment from the host. She casually mentioned to us in the elevator on the way up, AFTER I paid, that there had been an electrical fire and the pool was closed for the foreseeable future. Would’ve been nice to know that before we paid! Later that night I smelt gas from the balcony, and then the building was swarmed with about 10 fire trucks. After questioning the firefighters, we found out there was a gas leak in one of the connected towers and they advised us to not go up. Host downplayed the problem and said it was safe, lol try being there with dozens of people scared to go back up to their apartments. Firefighters took 3 hours to fix it and came out from base of building with oxygen tanks. That night we went back up to the room and found tampon applicators behind the trash can in bathroom. Ew! We were hopeful until the second night the elevators broke down and we WALKED DOWN 32 flights of stairs. Firetrucks again, and the host said “the stairs still work!” Yeah not walking back up, no thank you. We didn’t even stay the 2nd night, booked hotels for the rest of the trip. Best thing the host did was send someone to clean the applicators, but that was it.

Perfect area to get anywhere downtown with lots of options for transportation. Parking was expensive but not compared to any other area in downtown Miami Shower was complicated to work - needs instructions on how to use due to multiple spa buttons, etc Everything was very clean and communication was wonderful

Great location. Didn’t love the unit itsself

The location in Brickell was fantastic. Everything was very walkable. The check in process was good as well. We stayed 6 nights and wouldn’t stay in that particular unit again. There were no batteries in the remotes so we couldn’t watch TV. We were gone a lot, thankfully… or else would have had to find a way to get them. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Our biggest gripe was the shower. It was pretty high to get into which was a safety concern and the water never got hot the whole time we were there. Barely warm, which sucks for a shower after a long day of walking in the heat. I wouldn’t stay in the particular condo again but would find something else in the building or close by.
