Accommodating property management staff. Prompt response however, the studio had a dinosaur-aged (30 years old…) manual thermostat which was broken. Upon arrival the temperature was set on 60 , so the first night was like sleeping outside in the cold. The property managers got it replaced next day but with inconvenience to me and wasting my precious time when I had to attend to business not coordinating their maintenance, access, etc. which should have happened before I showed up. However, the new control did not work any better. It controlled the temperature but not the high humidity. Probably the entire AC unit has to be repaired. All towels and linens were damp because of it and so were all my clothes. The interruption and being woken up by other staff like knocking on door to change the AC filter at 8:30 am on a Saturday was simply unacceptable. Overall nice, clean studio, amazing location and views. But, my stay and peace was interrupted by constant texting to “check” on things etc. .when I was in town for business meetings not to babysit and coordinate property upkeep which should have happened before I got there.
Also, you could put a couple of extra soaps for an extended stay like a few days… one for the shower and one for the sink.
The kitchenette is very dated and has no space to even place a small plate. No practical design. One of the chairs at the table had a broken/wobbly leg which I discovered when I sat on it and nearly fell off with the entire chair.
I trust you’re going to properly fix the AC so it controls the high humidity before your next gusts show up. It was not a comfortable nor relaxing stay at all because of all the interruptions from property management, albeit they were professional and courteous with best intentions.
