'The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. There was a lot of space around the cottage that made it feel private, and a small space fenced in for our dogs. A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. 'We loved this house. It had very clean rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. So often I stay in rental places with rock hard beds and fluffless pillows. The hosts were excellent and communicated everything perfectly. The neighborhood is secluded but nearby everything all at once. It's a quiet and cute place with a big kitchen and a legendary shower! 5 stars. '

'The entire rental was very clean. My favorite part was the tub and shower. I took a long soak and after a lot of travel it erased my stress. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. Everything was as advertised and i would definitely come back and rent again. '

'It was very comfortable for our long weekend. Plenty of cookware. The house is on a nice quiet street. It was very convenient to the Sports Complex and restaurants. Oh...and an ice maker is a definite plus, for me anyway! Kim was very responsive and made check in and out easy! We will definitely stay again next time we're in Matthews, NC.'
