'Was a great stay'

'House was lovely and very comfortable. The ammenities in house were plentiful and up to date. We were able to make dinner and find all that we needed to do so and we we able to relax comfortably and sleep well. Host was easy to reach and responsive. House was roomier and nicer than it appeared in the photos'

The host management (TYCA) was defensive and unhelpful when issues were raised.We found live cockroaches. A major issue confirmed by previous reviews noting the host knew about the problem and had placed poison out. This is a severe health and hygiene failure.The house has multiple maintenance failures:• Interior stairs are dangerously steep with a loose tread.• A broken floorboard in the kitchen...

'The owner was missing during check-in time. Ended up in a hotel with two rooms and spent double. VRBO has yet to reimburse the thousands of additional dollars spent.'

The staff communicated all instructions clearly and provided contact info in the event we needed support, which we did not. We would definitely return.'
