'This place is lovely. My daughter and I spent a weekend visiting friends in the area. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. I loved the giant shower. The hotel is right on the hike and bike path and very easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. I will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Abita Springs.'

The only down side was the two days we were there the pool was filled with little kids (have kids and love them very much) just thought it would be a calmer pool experience at the roost. 'It was a great place to stay just 3 or so blocks from the beach. The Bungalow is an upstairs 1 bedroom apartment style vacation home. Downstairs is another unit called the bunkhouse. There is also a short term rental home. We all shared the beautiful grounds and had a great time hanging out with the other renters. There is ample parking in a quiet neighborhood. 'It was a great place to stay very cozy and quiet. Excellent if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle. It was only 15 minutes from the beach (side note if you go to Dauphin Island beaches make sure you have very good cellphone service to use the ParkMobile app. They will boot your car) Also the people at Catalina Restaurant are the best if you have a toddler. 'Excellent stay! The only request I have is that the hallway lights dim after 10pm. The light that comes in through the transom window made it difficult for the guests who slept on the pullout to sleep. Otherwise, very nice accommodations!'
