'This was perfect for our family, as five bedrooms (and the washer/dryer) came in handy. The binder on the property was great, and we liked Crestone and the surrounding area a lot. It was a bit of a drive to the Sand Dunes entrance, but we knew that ahead of time, and the location worked well.'

And the view from the outside of the great dunes and mountains were spectacular. 'There was a strong musty smell when first entering in the dome. Opening windows resolved most of it. Must be air tight construction. Quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. Did set off the smoke alarm with just making toast so was good to know it worked. Did not use the big soaking tub due to concern of water conservation. Enjoyed local sites of Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls and Sand Dune Recreation hot springs and pools. Local grocery store and diner in Crestone looked good but, did not...

'Amazing place. Lots of room. The bed was quite comfortable. Good water pressure and great WI-FI. The towels were thick and absorbent. As others have said, the way sound travels was constantly amusing to us. If I had any criticisms at all, it would be that the kitchen was okay, not a lot of pots, pans, dishes, or glasses. We were only there for the weekend, so that was not a big deal. A longer stay it would have bothered me. The host thought of everything else though. Nice coffee and coffee...
