'I was disappointed by the reception team during my recent stay. Despite arriving with heavy luggage, not a single staff member offered to help or even acknowledged the struggle. A hotel’s front desk sets the tone for the entire experience, and unfortunately this one felt indifferent to guests’ basic needs. I hope management addresses this, as a little attentiveness goes a long way in hospitality.'

'The room was clean and there was plenty of parking available. The location was very close to downtown San Jose and SJSU. Also, several fast food restaurants on the block and across the street. This was an afforable and convenient location to stay for the SJSU commencement.'

'Hotel Clariana is a historic renovation of a YMCA so don't expect a Marriott/Hilton experience... That said I booked a room to lay my head at night while attending The Blues Festival (Sat/Sun) and it was perfect! It was priced below $200 and I was able to park for two days at a great price. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was attentive... Tina was a fabulous host! There was some downtown noise at night but with Fifa Soccer, a wrestling match, a Blues...

'Keep an eye out, sometimes the clientele can be spicy! Props to the young lady working the night desk, because an old man started swinging and NOBODY CAME TO HELP HER👀 Anyhow...BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW. Cheap, clean, convenient, but disclaimer: NO SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER. One sad soap bar that somehow doesn't dissolve in water 👀'

'Hair dryer does not work, both key cards don’t work. Try to call staff at 11 pm (after hour) and it take 30 minutes.'
