'San Gimignano is a beautiful town. We were off season so many of the shops and restaurants and some attractions we closed, but still there was lots to do and see, and enough good restaurants. And of course there were no crowds which was lovely. We took a Chianti region wine tour with Bruno and it was fantastic. We learned so much, and Bruno is a gem. 'We stayed for almost 3 weeks in the appartment. The host Daniele and his wife Annalisa are super nice and very attentive. Upon arrival there is a bottle of wine and some small things ready. They are helpful and if you have questions you can always call them. From the apartment it is a 5 minute walk to the center and the train station. Supermarket is 10 minutes by car.
