We realize that the construction work undertaken by our neighbors can be disruptive; thus, we have placed a banner on our brand website to alert prospective guests to the ongoing construction so it is not a surprise for our guests. We certainly understand the importance of a peaceful environment for an uninterrupted night's rest; thus, while this issue is out of our control somewhat, we are exploring ways to minimize noise and increase guest comfort. We are sorry for the disappointment you described with the expectation of a complimentary breakfast. We do not provide free breakfast at our hotel and do not advertise this amenity as free on our brand website. However, we have an on-site restaurant to quell your hunger for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our convenient location also gives easy access to downtown Montreal, meaning everything you need is within easy reach. Thank you for staying with us on this journey and providing valuable feedback. Our room has a very strong smell of cleaning product which did not feel safe. The carpet was damp. I do not understand how the staff felt comfortable giving anyome a room like that. There was construction happening right next door which started at 6am. We were notified of the construction only after booking our non-refundable stay. This was very disappointing and unfair.

However, it's unfortunate to learn that certain aspects of your stay were less than ideal. We regret to hear that you were disturbed by the nearby construction noise. We understand that the construction work by our neighbors is likely to produce some noise and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do have a banner on our brand website to alert prospective guests to the construction work at a neighboring site, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. We are very sorry that the towels smelled of smoke. We have a strict no-smoking policy in place and all of our linen and towels are washed thoroughly prior to a new guest checking in, so it is strange that this happened. We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and assure you that we will review our cleaning procedures with our housekeeping department to prevent future occurrences. Unfortunately, our shuttle service has been interrupted since the COVID period, and we have not yet resumed. However, we are happy to reserve a taxi for you if needed. Regarding the rooms, we understand the importance of maintaining a fresh look for our property and will see what we can do about having some updates to the rooms soon. Booked online for a quick rest during a long layover flight. Front desk was staff was a bit perturbed that we were so late - told us it would be $70 extra for early check in even though we were only staying for a few hours but the charge to my card was $100 Bed was like sleeping on bricks it was so hard Bedding smelled like dirty socks.
