Terrible experience. The worst vrbo I’ve been in. Dirty, smells of cigarettes and weed upon first opening the door. Had to stand in the trash filled doorway for 20 minutes while waiting to get a key as there were no keys in the lock box. At Greeted by some sketchy looking people in the common area. Half a roll of toilet paper in the room and no option to get more even after requesting more. Bad neighborhood, very dirty. Did not feel safe while staying here. Room is not as advertised. Also had an incident where another guest smashed a window and they had to escort her out screaming at 11pm. Do not recommend.

Perfect base for exploring the city. Room and price point suited our needs perfectly. Shared kitchen and laundry amongst guests in 9 different rooms could be tricky but we were politely creative with moving other people’s laundry when needed and mostly ate out. Love the neighbourhood and awesome breakfast at L’Oeufrier 2 blocks down.

Pluses for this accommodation include: helpful and cheerful on-site manager; good standard of cleanliness of linens, bath towels, rooms and kitchen facilities. Great spot if you are planning to cook/prepare your own meals. Minus: many stairs to the first floor accommodations. Overall - the construction in the area, difficulty in accessing public transportation and the evident economic strains in the area detracted from our ease of stay. However, we enjoyed the local restaurants, grocery store, public library, easy access to Uber and the good nature and joie de vivre we frequently encountered.

Totally not what I expected.

Old rundown furniture. Looks more like a hostel than a VRBO. We saw strange people hanging around the outside door. long narrow steep stairway. We didn’t spend the night. Ended up looking for a hotel outside the city.

Worked for what we needed

For the cost the place was good for what we needed. Private bedroom and bathroom. Furniture was basic but room was clean. The shared space is with ~8 other rooms and felt more like a hostel. Immediate neighborhood was a bit rundown but was easy enough to get around.

WARNING - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL

This was by far the worst experience. I’m a real person, and unlike the fake paid reviews, I’m here to share the truth. The place was falsely advertised as a private space, but the reality was far from it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a steep, dirty staircase that felt unsafe. Inside the room, I found hair all over the bed, tacky furniture with tennis balls under the chair legs, and when I pulled back the sheets, there were semen stains. It made me feel sick to my stomach. I rushed to the bathroom, only to find a massive, unflushed mess in the toilet. The smell was unbearable, and the ceiling was leaking brown liquid, possibly from a sewage issue. The kitchen was disgusting, with overflowing garbage, dirty sinks, and a stove covered in mysterious liquids. After contacting the host, he offered to come over, but we felt so unsafe that we left immediately. Please trust this review and avoid this place at all costs. Don’t be fooled by the fake positive reviews—this place is a nightmare. Save your money and your peace of mind. Stay far away.

Good location

My son and his friend stayed at this location. They said it was centrally located. The apartment was a shared residence. He said it was a very nice clean apartment. I did believe it was a single apartment did not realize it was shared with other people. Communication with management was very good overall.

Superbe Adresse !!!

C’était pour une semaine à Montréal et ses environs. Location a plusieurs voyageurs. Chacun a son intimité, sa télé, son lit et sa salle de bain. Très bien entretenu! Super propre. Une cuisine commune permettant de se faire de petits plats le matin et au soir pour nous. Ça nous a plu de Séjourner à cette adresse. Nous étions véhiculés, mais il s’agit d’un coin très bien desservi. Un supermarché pas loin à pied. Autour des dépanneurs ça c’est chouette!!! Merci beaucoup !

First time visitor, will be back!

The location is great, within walking distance of a grocery store, a few cute eateries and the metro station, which gets you everywhere in the city. The room is nice, well lit and includes its own AC unit. The shared kitchen has a very spacious setup, including an island with a great sink and prep area. The neighbour residents were polite, quiet and friendly. Communication with the property manager was quick, easy and prompt. I had a great time!

Very Helpful Host, great place to stay in the city!

Our host was very helpful, making sure to respond promptly when we had a question about the property. The VRBO was very close to delicious restaurants in a part of town - not as frequented by tourists, but locals. Great experience, very clean inside with shared kitchen space with other tenants. Would come back and stay in the future!
