Dichtbij bezienswaardigheden
Het hotel ligt in een armoedige buurt. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De kamers zijn schoon, doch wat verouderd. Het ontbijt is goed en er is volop keuze, oa cerials, croissants, koffiebroodjes, brood, scrambled eggs, en yoghurt en alles wordt regelmatig bijgevuld. Het hotel is makkelijk bereikbaar vanaf de luchthaven met bus 747 tot aan Berri station en dan nog slechts 100 meter lopen. Vele bezienswaardigheden liggen op loopafstand en anders kun je van Berristation de metro nemen naar andere delen van Montreal, bijv naar Mont Royal. Hotel is aan te bevelen

Zeer goede locatie, vlakbij metro en centraal gelegen in winkelstraat in centrum. Straat van hotel zelf is wel vrij vuil. Kamer bevat ook een kleine keuken, voor mensen die daar gebruik van zou willen maken. Rest van het verblijf spijtig genoeg niet echt positief. De kamer stonk verschrikkelijk, en was zeer moeilijk te verduisteren. Badkamer was ook niet proper bij inchecken. Ontbijt bijzonder matig: geen yoghurt, fruit uit conserven, enkel toastbrood, croissants waren uitgedroogd, ... Ook zeer druk in de ontbijtruimte, die duidelijk niet voorzien was op zoveel hotelgasten.

goed hotel ook voor meerdere nachten
wij waren hier met 3 personen voor 5 dagen aan het begin van onze vakantie in Canada. Het hotel is prima gelegen dicht bij een metrostation, dichtbij een supermarkt (iga). Alles goed bereikbaar. Prettig was de kitchenette zodat je zelf ook wat eten en drinken kon klaarmaken. De inrichting is klassiek, verwacht geen design in de hotels en motel in Canada (we hebben er veel gezien). Bedden, badkamer waren schoon en simpel. Internet werkte redelijk goed, wat ook niet steeds vanzelfsprekend is in Canada. In montreal zie je veel bedelende junks en alcoholisten op straat, er wordt openlijk gedeald en gebruikt. Ook voor het hotel, maar het voelde niet onveilig zoals al door anderen gemeld. De sfeer in Montreal is Europees/Amerikaans, erg prettige en leuke stad! In heel Quebec wordt bij voorkeur Frans gesproken. Buiten Montreal verstaan ze je soms niet in het engels, maar de mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en open.

Nice and a clean spot in the downtown. I put 4 for the dangerous underground parking lot(very narrowed), miss of the access to the hot drinks in the lobby(e.g. tea, coffee) and customer's orientation with ghd surrounding area. The China town is located 15 minutes walk from the hotel. However it took us 40-45 minutes under the rain with the desk's clerk explanations. If you don't know don't explain

Very comfortable stay! Clean room. Beds are comfortable and I really appreciated having a kitchenette in our room! I’m celiac so this was such a benefit as I won’t eat out much in the city. Staff are friendly. A couple of things in our room don’t work like the phone to call front desk and thermostat. It was a little warm at times but okay. My only true complaint was the smell, especially in the reception of the hotel. It smells like stinky feet as soon as you walk in at all times. Ventilation could be improved in this hotel but I would stay again on a future trip to Montreal.

Although the room was clean, cannot say the same for the rest of the hotel. The carpets in the hallways are dirty. The worst is the parking garage. The ramp is extremely steep and narrow, and it is a 2 way ramp. They said they've never had any accidents but I doubt it. I scraped my car door on the wall of the ramp. The neighbourhood is also sketchy, I didn't feel safe walking at night. This hotel is definitely off my list.

Il y avait un bruits atroce de la perseuse ou marto piqueur pour des travaux dans une chambre ou autre pièces avoisinantes. On appelle la réception à 10h le matin pour savoir ce qui se passe et ils disent qu'ils ont des travaux à faire et qu'ils ne peuvent pas les annuler. On leurs dit pour alors louer les chambres avoisinantes si c'est le cas? Quand on leurs demandes d'arrêter le bruit il disent que ce n'est pas comme ça que ça se passe. On répond au responsable que nous allons nous plaindre, il nous demande si on veut bien changer de chambre car nous avons loué pour 2 nuits. Nous étions obligés de prendre tous nos affaires et aller dans une autre chambre à un étage très loin de celui où nous étions.

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff were helpful and the location was central. Breakfast was a steal considering the price. However the surrounding area was under remodelling and many of the buildings next door were empty construction sites which made it feel a bit insecure at night to and fro the hotel. The hotel itself was very well maintained.
