'We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn in Great Barrington. It’s conveniently located not far from downtown and just a short drive to Stockbridge.
The front desk staff was welcoming, the room spacious and clean, and plenty of breakfast items to choose from.
Definitely recommend!'

'This was one of the best motels I've stayed in. Normally motels are older and musty. This was very bright, no smell. White bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bed. It's set a little back on the main road. Because it was cool, we turned off the AC and opened the rear window. It was quiet. Check in/out was easy. Reasonable for the area. Highly recommend.'

'Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. 'We loved this Inn, it had the ambiance and private feel of a B&B, with romantic decorations and multiple sitting rooms. A pleasure to explore! And a lovely garden too. Wish we could have spent more time here, we would definitely come back! The innkeeper was very warm and friendly. Only breakfast wasn't very special and a bit chaotic, with guests being served in random sequence.'

'We love the Red Lion. And had two excellent meals around our trips to Tanglewood concerts. We stayed at the Stevens house room 184. Sunny, sweet, fridge downstairs was helpful to store picnic items/wine. But the bed is soft and the bathtub was plastic insert which was unexpected for the cost per night, but more so the smell of mildew. '

The wine and cheese happy hour with piano player was fantastic. Room was incredible - we stayed in Treetop Suite and I highly recommend. Breakfast was gourmet and cooked to order.
