'We loved this Inn, it had the ambiance and private feel of a B&B, with romantic decorations and multiple sitting rooms. A pleasure to explore! And a lovely garden too. Wish we could have spent more time here, we would definitely come back! The innkeeper was very warm and friendly. Only breakfast wasn't very special and a bit chaotic, with guests being served in random sequence.'

Will recommend and am planning to visit regularly. Hoping to return in the fall but definitely next spring. We stayed in a beautiful room (203), which included a spacious sitting area and a well-appointed bath. The breakfast were nicely prepared and presented. The Inn provided timely information prior and during our stay. We will be back in the future. '

Quiet location, convenient to Great Barrington and Berkshire attractions. While there is no front desk or reception area, instructions for accessing the room are easy to follow.'

'I was in town to attend an inspection on a house we made an offer on in nearby Becket. The Whitlock was perfect for me. It was conveniently located, in town, close to dining, and with easy parking. The inn was historic, charming, and had lots of character. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is now staff available on premises from 7 am to 10 pm. I was able to check in on site. The outer doors were locked at night. I would definitely come back.'

'This lodge was so charming, delightful and Natasha was so warm and welcoming! The rooms are so cozy with the best Robes with the cutest cats on them and the breakfast included was wonderful! Very close to many cute towns and a quick hike to Bash Bosh Falls! We will be back!'
