Eerste hotel waar ze het fooi probleem voor de kamermeisjes goed hebben opgelost; er ligt een envelop waar je geld in kan doen voor het kamermeisje op naam dat je kamer heeft schoongemaakt; je geeft het envelopje vervolgens aan de receptie af die er voor zorgt dat het geld bij het betreffende kamermeisje terecht komt. Zeer uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Jammer dat de kamers wat gehorig waren; wij konden het telefoongesprek van de man in de kamer...

'The Holiday Inn Express Pittsfield-Lenox is a new (opened 10/25) lower cost hotel in the heart of the Berkshires, close to Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Company, The Berkshire Stage and most of the art and culture opportunities offered by the Berkshires. It is clean, the complementary hot breakfast is better than most, and the staff courteous and helpful. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return.'

'The property has a gorgeous view of the lake. I enjoyed walking around and also the owner started a bonfire at night. Everything there was very casual and relaxing.'

'The hotel is as described. However they hold $150 for the incidentals fee. That seems extremely large. Especially with no restaurant on premise. Otherwise it's a fine hotel.'

'This place was a gem. It’s small and surrounded by nature but close to restaurants, shopping, wildlife viewing areas, and historical sites. I loved that pets are free. The grounds were nice with a picnic bench and a large fire pit. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely stay here.'

'We had a lovely 2 night stay in early July. This is a classic New England inn- think cozy, warm and well lived. If you are looking for sleek and spa this is not it. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with very friendly owners and staff- this is for you. The pool was fantastic bonus as it was 98 degrees during our stay.'

'Comfy beds, clean cute and modern, I love everything about this little place. Easy check in even though it’s basically virtual they communicated clearly and quickly about my room and door code. Only thing was there was a container of someone else’s snack leftover in my mini fridge when I arrived I just threw it out. I love the real coffee mugs in the room that’s a nice touch.'
