'From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....

'We were lucky enough to find the Cottage right before July 4. Our son and his wife's whole extended family were spending the weekend in the same Beachwood neighborhood. The immediate area is fabulous for a low-key, family-oriented weekend. The cottage has been updated with room airconditioners and heat, a cooktop, fridge, etc. That said, it's a cottage and not a hotel. Although we did do a bit of cooking there, it would be hard to cook a full meal with any frequency. Still, we really had...

'Very clean and well taken care of, quick walk to the lake (though it was very buggy in the area!), secluded, nice and easy drive to Great Barrington or Southfield, etc. Lindsey and Steven were incredibly responsive and kind and left us a little welcome gift and some helpful tips in the form of notes. We especially loved the little "porch" that could have it's screened windows opened for cool mornings with coffee. Just a note as your perusing/preparing for your trip that this property is not...

'The cottage was adorable and spotless. Minutes to Great Barrington and Butternut and close to other Berkshire ski resorts. My family of 5 was so cozy and had plenty of space. The basement bedroom does get cold, especially the floor so bring your slippers!'
