'We returned to the Chambery Inn to celebrate my wife's birthday and the Memorial Day weekend. We were very happy with our choice. We stayed in a beautiful room (203), which included a spacious sitting area and a well-appointed bath. The breakfast were nicely prepared and presented. The Inn provided timely information prior and during our stay. We will be back in the future. '

Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. 'Loved the property, room was clean and had everything you needed!! We had an upgrade that was wonderful!! Only downfall was the outside little deck! No privacy all out In the open, side by side and facing the other units with a walkway in front of it!! Was looking forward to sitting out side but ended up not using it at all.

'We loved this Inn, it had the ambiance and private feel of a B&B, with romantic decorations and multiple sitting rooms. A pleasure to explore! And a lovely garden too. Wish we could have spent more time here, we would definitely come back! The innkeeper was very warm and friendly. Only breakfast wasn't very special and a bit chaotic, with guests being served in random sequence.'

'I was in town to attend an inspection on a house we made an offer on in nearby Becket. The Whitlock was perfect for me. It was conveniently located, in town, close to dining, and with easy parking. The inn was historic, charming, and had lots of character. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is now staff available on premises from 7 am to 10 pm. I was able to check in on site. The outer doors were locked at night. I would definitely come back.'
