We stayed for a whole week and enjoyed every second of it! The condo was immaculate and it was just the right size. Very close to the beach. The owner, Mike was very easy to work with and if we needed anything, he was only a phone call away. We will be back!

Tropical storm Debby dampened our stay last week, but the owner was extremely gracious in offering a partial refund looking out for our safety. I would highly recommend this lovely condo as well as the owner, Mike.

We had never been to Emersld Isle before, but we will return! The area was quiet, clean, and very pleasant. This condo was exactly as shown and the owner, Mike, was very responsive and great to communicate with. For those concerned with having to do linens laundry before checking out, we took our own towels so we could just bring them home with us to wash. Put the one set of sheets in the washer as soon as we got up, and into the dryer where you’re to leave them for the cleaning crew. Easy! We highly recommend this condo for 2 people for a pleasant place to stay in Emerald Isle.

My husband and I stayed for a week. The condo was exactly as it was represented. Nicely appointed and clean. Close to beach, pool and shopping. The owner was wonderful to work with, he responded quickly to any questions. Communication with him was a breeze. A wonderful week.

This was our first trip to Emerald Isle, but it won’t be our last! We loved this condo and the complex it was located in. Having two balconies was a treat— we ate lunch on the bedroom balcony several times. The king-sized bed was comfortable. Appreciated having the full-sized washer and dryer in the condo. It was a quick and easy walk to both the pool and the beach. And Mike was super helpful, friendly, communicative, and accommodating! Highly recommend.

Our 1-bedroom condo at Sound of the Sea was very nice. Spacious, Clean, nicely decorated, easy access, located in gated community. Nice ocean views from 2 decks. Excellent host, provided us with all check-in and check-out info, prompt responses. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived later than planned due to a brief illness. Michael was available to let us in the gate. We found the space just as it was described; the furnishings were more than adequate. We enjoyed a short walk to a nicely groomed beach. There was information for us with suggestions for shopping and dining. We enjoyed visiting Beaufort, nearby. There we took the National Park Service excursion to Shackelford island to see the wild horses. It was a very relaxing week with many fine memories, and we look forward to our return someday, soon.

Great little place in the heart of Emerald Isle. It's cute! Very close to most things and very short walk to the beach. Having many different options on the television was very nice. Only a few downsides to place but not major include low water pressure, washing sheets/towels before leaving, and place could use a deep clean/dusting. Aren't deal breakers and would definitely like to use this place again in the future! Would refer to others!

The property was clean but it had a very strong closed up musty smell. The smell was overpowering at times but we realized that keeping the doors opened did help a bit. It is also too much work for vacation. I know it is important to make sure the property is maintained but for me as a guest to have to do my laundry i.e. washing the bed linens and towels was a bit too much. I went to vacation and have fun. I am not a slob by no means but, I definitely did not sign up to clean up. I will say that the property was really nice but way too many restrictions. We were only able to relax 100% when we went out. I would like to see maybe a little less than strict policy for guest. Again I am by no means a slob but having to wash my linens and things was a bit too much. I would also suggest airing the property out before renting it again. I think if the owner or property manager would have done an initial walk thru before we occupied the space they would have picked up on the strong musty smell.

This condo was well supplied with linens and was clean. Our major problem was the terrible water pressure in the shower and sink. The owner offered to send out a plumber but we didn't want to waste our vacation time waiting for him and staying with him..This should have been checked prior to our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay this past week. It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The condo was perfect for us. It was close to te beach and the grounds were very well kept. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes as well as cleaning supplies. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I’ve used VRBO many times over the last few years and have not been disappointed yet. This property was exactly as shown in the pictures. The guest contact was very prompt with replies. The check in process was easy and the unit was easy to locate. The inside of the condo was updated and spacious for a 1 bedroom. It was my husband and I and step-daughter. She slept on the pullout couch and said that it was comfortable. There are partial views of the ocean which was nice. The property was super quiet all the time even though we could tell there were many people around because of all of the cars. The pools were still closed due to COVID-19, so that was a bummer, but we had a great time on the beach which is why we came. There is a short walk to the beach and the beach area was not over crowded. There were nice added touches in the condo that added to the experience. We would definitely stay there again!
