'I was taking my first solo trip with my dog. I have never visited western NC and was unsure of where to stay. After visiting the surrounding towns, I was glad that I chose to stay here. It was a chill place to relax after a day of exploring. This tiny house had everything I needed. All the towns in that area are very welcoming to dogs. My sweet 12 year old pup was a big hit. "One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
