'Beautiful stay, in a traditional looking Japanese hotel. All rooms seem to have Mt. Fuji views which. Was stunning. So does the Onsen. Reception area looks just renovated, very nicely done. Rooms in good condition too, same for spa area. Only area that still can be done is hallwaysz but then again who cares for these. The staff is super kind and helpful, one of the best places we have stayed during our trip!'

'This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. It is located in the remote area and it’s inconvenient for shopping, etc. However, it is an advantage for people who want to avoid the hassle of overtourism in the Mt. Fuji area. 'Our stay at The Sense Fuji was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We would have stayed longer if time allowed. The property is beautiful with incredible views of Mt. Fuji. The private onsen is relaxing and the food was great. The service was perfect and helped us with whatever we needed. Cannot wait to come back.'

'A spacious villa for our family of 5 with 2 beds and a few tatami. There’s a small private osen outside the bathroom. A kettle and simple eating utensils are provided. Location is convenient in terms of access to convenient stores and restaurants nearby. Very happy with our stay!'
