'We enjoyed our stay and if ever back in Kentucky would book again. It is extremely convenient for Bardstown distilleries and pretty close to Louisville. Very quiet and relaxing property with plenty of privacy. There are two things I would point out: 1. It is a haul to the Frankfort/Lexington distilleries. If that is your plan you might want to book elsewhere. 2. The bathroom is tiny, and I mean tiny. If you are on the larger side you may have some issues.'

'Receptiveness and availability of hostess to a small handful of concerns. Beauty of the rental unit itself and the view of the Courthouse (made famous in a sixties Hollywood production, "The Flim Flam Man). A part of Kentucky you might drive through bit rarely drive to. Really glad I took the time to do so in this lovely and welcoming stopping point on the Bourbon Trail.'

'A more unique retreat in KY situated in the middle of nowhere along/near The Bourbon Trail will not be found. This hobbit/gnome themed outdoor resort is at first stunning and then you begin to realize all the work that must have gone into it and all the thought that went into the details/design. From the rock fountain, the hillside rooms, gazebo with swings and fire pit, hot tub room, and the extra large reception/game/common area, etc... it is all there, it works, it is comfortable, it is...
