'Beautiful furnishings and vibrant neighborhood'

'This is an amazing hotel. The staff are the best I’ve ever dealt with. Let us check in super early and we were able to sleep after our red eye for which we were very grateful. Comfortable beds and pilllows. The crab cakes at Poets are amazing!! Only issue we had was the strange up charges at breakfast. (Got charged $5 trying to not be wasteful and having them not include the eggs with breakfast.) Saw a lot more of Baltimore than we would have if we had stayed closer to the convention center. '

'Arrived at the hotel to check in. The doors were locked, phones disconnected, and website links broken. Someone from the area walking by informed us that the hotel had apparently closed down. We were left stranded in Baltimore without a place to stay and hand to find friends to stay with at the last minute. Words cannot express how remotely not okay this is. The hotel doesn't even exist anymore supposedly.'
