'My friend and I meet in the middle in Lancaster every Memorial Day and this was the favorite place we stayed! Our kids (3, 7, and 10) loved playing on the little beach and floating on the rafts (it was still too early season for swimming). 'Very comfortable home to stay in, very peaceful as the name says!!'

'Both the property and the hosts were delightful. Our family (husband, wife, and toddler) absolutely loved the house. The distance from many touristy things (about 30 minutes in our case) was nice because it helped the house feel like more of a retreat. We would definitely stay here again!Parents, note that the house comes well equipped with some baby/toddler gear which is not mentioned in the listing. Reach out to the very helpful host and you might save yourself some packing!'

"We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement. "
