'The staff were incredible. Super friendly and very easy to get a hold of. They stowed our luggage so that we could visit the town after checkout. The hotel was really cute and quaint. I would stay there again.'

'Vanaf het station Ollantantambo gelopen, hetgeen door het zoeken niet direct heel eenvoudig was. Route is echter achteraf gemakkelijk. Loopinstructies zouden handig zijn geweest. Kwartier lopen vanaf station. Guesthouse zelf heel vriendelijk. Eenvoudige kamer, maar alles is aanezig en is schoon. Prima ontbijt met een glimlach. Prachtig gelegen in het oude centrum en met direct uitzicht op de oude Inca omgeving. Stadje is erg leuk. Aanbeveling om hier te verblijven voor bijv. 2 nachten. Vervoer...

'I think this is a typical hotel in this community. You get what you pay for. It felt a little bit like camping with the lack of amenities and cold water, but it’s all apart of the experience. The staff was nice. We saw the same fellow everyday I don’t think he had time off.'

'Cute Peruvian hotel close to town - walkable to a mini market and restaurants. We would stand outside the hotel and flag down a motortaxi if we wanted to go further. They would charge us $5-8 sol ( about $1.75-$2.75 us ) to go into the town square or to the train station . The town square is really cute. The beds were comfy and the worker will give you a heater for your room if you’re cold ( we went in winter) . They stored our roll on bags while we went to Agues Calientes (Machu Picchu)...

'Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley.'

'Super friendly staff and clean room. One of kind experience at Ollantaytambo. The sky was so beautiful at night and you can actually the sky full of stars. The hotel is also fun to explore with a small farm, and other activities. Highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Peru.'

'You cannot get more central in terms of location. Right at the end of the street from the train station and only a couple of blocks from the main plaza and the key archeological sites. The balcony rooms overlook the river and the rooms are very spacious. The included breakfast makes for an easy start to your day. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Sol Ollantay.'

'When we arrived after a long day, the staff said that they don’t have room for us. We were in contact with them for the last couple of weeks, telling them when we arrive, asking about parking near by, and asking if they have the cable to watch the World Cup. They confirmed everything but when we arrived, they didn’t have the room. Terrible experience!'
