'Wonderful place to stay in the Nikko area. This is a small hotel of 15 rooms overlooking lake Chuzenji. You either make a bus from Nikko station or a have a car to drive up the mountain. There are lots of walks to do in this area and the Kegon waterfall is very impressive. The rooms are spacious and was in the western style. 'Conveniently located near the Nikko Toshogu Shrine and loved the private onsen. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Walkable to the main town and bus stops for sites (eg to Chuzenji) are very close. '山奥なので心配していましたが施設は綺麗な状態で、露天風呂から見える景色がよく、また、食事もとても美味しかったです。仲居さんの対応も良かったです。 ただ、最近は温泉の出が悪い状況らしく、露天風呂は温度調節が必要でした。気温が高い季節であれば、気持ち良く長湯ができそうな感じでした。 周辺には観光施設は特にありませんが、大自然に囲まれているだけでも非日常感があってよかったです。市バスは頼めば、宿の入り口で止まってくれます。 前日に同じ価格帯の日光市内の旅館に泊まりましたが、満足感はこちらの方が強かったです。また泊まりに行きたいと感じさせてくれる宿でした。'

'I was in Japan for 2 weeks and this was possibly my favorite place I stayed at. The owners are so nice and welcoming. They speak great English, so that made my life easier!
