'Really unique hotel and rooms. We were in Room 101 which is 1 king bed in a bedroom with a door that closes and 1 double-bed sofa sleeper in the living room. The wet bar area was very cute, had a dorm-room sized refg/freezer combo, microwave and coffee maker and had a high-top table and two chairs adjacent in its own nook. The living room was spacious as well -- the sofa bed plus 1 oversized comfortable chair for TV-watching. A big surprise in Room 101 was the jetted whirlpool tub in a nook...

'Eenvoudig motel. Kamer was schoon en had magnetron, koelkast en koffiezetapparaat. Wel weinig daglicht. Grootste nadeel vond ik dat er geen ice machine aanwezjg was.'

'You get what you pay for and we knew that going in. Very quirky old hotel that hasn't been updated in decades, but the old school vibe definitely has character. Hot tub and pool area was clean and the breakfast was decent. The staff checking in were very polite and accomodating. We stayed one night after the House on the rock in a standard room for only $83. If you're on a budget and not to picky this is a great place to lay your head for the night.'

'The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.'

'The staff was very friendly, kind, and efficient. The rooms were clean with adequate space, but the whole hotel had a mildew smell to it. Likely from the lobby pool and all the carpeted areas. And there was a lot of scented products seeming to try cover it up. I’m really sensitive to chemical smells, strong cleaners, mold, and mildew, so for this was a tough place to sleep comfortably.'
