'We have stayed at this property many times. However, we have been disappointed almost every time because it has been a full house between the construction, and now the finished product. With the full capacity comes zero parking if you arrive after eight or 9 PM. On this particular trip, there were four semi’s parked in the parking lot and work trucks that were almost semi truck sized. No rhyme or reason to their parking- taking up multiple spaces. 'Homewood Suites is in the perfect location near the university. It was clean, had plenty of space, and they had a simple, but nice breakfast. We had to ask for extra sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa. It was delivered promptly and the person who delivered it was professional. Highly recommend!'

'Went to see UIUC campus and stopped here for the night. It was quieter because we came in July, and that might make a difference at other times, but this place was really convenient and our room was a good size. I didn’t think much of the pool but I had no time to use it anyway. Right next to campus. '

'The room was ok, then cleaners came only once during our stay. She was rude. She didn’t clean the shower at all. She didn’t replace the toilet paper roll even though it had finished and she didn’t clean the table despite me asking her. The tea mug had lipstick stain on them.'

'This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value.'

'Hotel room was even nicer and more spacious than online pictures. Bathroom was great with all the Dove products to use. I didn’t even have to unpack the stuff I brought. Needed a microwave and they brought one right up to the room. Plenty of eating options within walking distance. Only thing I would suggest is when you check in make sure to find out where to park. It is across the road but super close and plenty of spots. Would definitely stay again!! '

'This was absolutely an amazing stay, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff accommodated for my sick dog that we came to Urbana to get treatment for. They made this the easiest part of our trip , especially Trisha and Beau, they are so sweet ! Trisha went out of her way to check the cameras making sure our food delivery wasn’t stolen, this made me feel so comfortable and safe.
