'Since I graduated from W&M, I've always wanted to stay at this place. No doubt it has a great location. But my disappointment started as soon as I arrived. No one outside to tell me where to park or help with bags. Walked in to a long line of people trying to check in with only 1 person working. The room itself was in need of a renovation. The restaurant and bar close early. Not what I expected. I won't be back.'

'Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!'

'The suite we stayed in really needs updating. The shower did not match the luxurious description on the website. The carpet was in need of replacement. I literally found a large, dead roach right by the foot of the bed upon check-in -- how was this missed by housekeeping? The tvs and remotes were very difficult to navigate and internet slow. I removed the top cover from the bed, as it appeared as though not washed and used sheets and a cotton blanket. The windows really needed cleaning and...

'This is a lovely place to stay. The site itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and its history. They helped us use our time there more effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at The Aldrich House. We would return if we ever end up back in Williamsburg.'

'It was a very cute room. Very historic. There were ants all over however. But the location was the best. If you are looking for a quiet retreat the Market Square Tavern rooms are not for you. The cannon goes off a lot and drum and fife play frequently. But you can walk everywhere from it.'

'It seems the property went through some renovation recently and it was left in really good shape. We got a two bedroom suite which was exactly what we were hoping for. The location is great, really close to downtown. I would most certainly recommend people to stay at this place.'

'This was one of the best hotels Ive eve stayed in. The staff was all absolutely amazing, everything was spotless, and their breakfast taco/burrito bar is, hands down the best free hotel breakfast I have ever had. My kids also had a blast in their indoor saltwater pool. We were there every morning and every night. I couldnt recommend a hotel more!'

Pool is very nice and clean. Price a little high for one night. Needs better parking. Over all we will be back again.'
