'Overall is very run down compared to photos. Sheets were dirty for the first 2 days on arrival. Floors were dirty. No working shower, no hot water. Kitchen barely has any food on menu never in stock or limited choices. Bed was extremely noisy. Pillows were awful we got very sore necks and back and we aren’t old. Rust present in bathroom. Mould in bathroom. Room smells musky like mould. Village across is very noisy. They leave big outdoor lights on that shine right through the windows while...

'Good resort, very clean, nice setting. Staff is lovely, their travel desk can be a bit pushy in offering only their tours (Pele island didn't exist because they didn't offer a tour to it for instance...). Thing to improve is the breakfast. Pancakes, canned fruit, Vegemite and some very dry pastries and that was it. Anything else had to be paid for.'

'The room was clean, but no cups to match the kettle. Water went off unexpectedly. Manager seems angry and I could not find any staff that spoke English to assist me with my needs. Excellent location, comfortable bed and nice patio.'

'Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

'Hotel has no elevator so need to climb 1 or 2 floors, with luggage if there’s no porter. Location quite near beach cafes and bars. Walking distance to city’s only shopping mall. Hotel rooftop has good view of sunsets. There’s a karaoke room and small coffee cafe in lobby '

'Location was good, resort rooms/apartments need work as the are aged and run down, only 1 kayak didn’t leak, no bikes, grounds and pool/deck was good, iguanas are locked in a small cage with nothing and overcrowded (should be at least a small bird aviary with a tree/shrub them in it), food was good, u have to ask for rooms to be serviced (u might get it). We had no water a few times and couple of nights, Beach was good. '

'Aggressively average. Things here are similar prices to Australia. The bathroom smelled bad, kind of like old pee or terrible cleaning supplies. Also we ordered lunch at the pool on our last day and because they were so slow making our food (50min a burger and a wrap), we asked where it was and they hadn’t even started making it!!! We were late to our airport transfer, took another 20min to get a refund. So after all that we didn’t even get lunch! On top of that, none of the staff had any sense...

'We had the most wonderful relaxing stay at Erakor. The staff were exceptional, great food, clean and tidy grounds. It is just the most beautiful location. The feast and fire show on Thursday night was amazing and a great opportunity to socialise with other guests. We will be back!'
