We also had a good wine tasting the night before. Unfortunately our stay was cut short by our need to get out of the smoke due to the wildfire in Kelowna. '

'The staff were helpful and friendly throughout Manteo. The service and food in Maestro's was excellent. Lovely views of the lake from our room and balcony and also the restaurant patio. The room was clean. The bathroom was small and dated but the room itself was spacious with plenty of storage.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Pandosy. Our hosts were incredibly kind and receptive and were even willing to buy us balsamic vinegar when we had forgotten to bring some. They were attentive to our concerns about the hot tub, and got it checked right away when we thought it might be too cloudy. The house is lovely, and the little touches like oil, spices, condiments and bathroom supplies were much appreciated. The beds and linens were very nice quality and comfortable....
