When traveling with children from the US, Expedia should add that children in the US is not the same as in Japan, in every hotel I had the same problem, the charged me to change my room, and it ended up being really expensive, like the charge was for another room instead of just adding a person (my daughter is 15), when this was the sites fault not mine. I understand the hotel; they just should clarify that with US customers.
