'Kamer was klein maar fijn! Weinig kastruimte dus moesten 9 dagen uit de koffer leven wat jammer was! Waren met baby van 10 maanden op reis en helaas hadden ze geen babybedje! 'This was a very fun place to stay in the absolute heart of Shinjuku. Omoide Yokocho is only 3 minutes away, go under the traintracks and cross the street and you're in Kabukicho. We had some worries about sound because you're on a very busy street but aside from the very occasional ambulance (twice in 5 nights) we didn't hear much outside noise.

We had some worries about sound because you're on a very busy street but aside from the very occasional ambulance (twice in 5 nights) we didn't hear much outside noise.

"Prachtige locatie, vriendelijk personeel. Lossen direct verzoeken of evt klachten zeer snel op. Hotelkamer zeer schoon en goed geïsoleerd waardoor je de airco niet eens aan hoeft te zetten in de nacht in hartje zomer. Enige minpunt was dat de kussens van het bed niet echt comfortabel was.

"Personnel was just amazing! The room, for Tokyo norms, was actually quite spacious. It was always spotless clean after I returned from work. I didn't have lunch or dinner here so I do not know if it is good, but twice I had the breakfast and I found that I really got excellent quality. The buffet is a mix of East and West, with many warm options such as beef ragout pasta and grilled chicken (if that is what you like) but you also find the traditional Western items there such as cheese, smoked salmon, eggs etc. The hotel was close to a railway station which I could use with my Japan rail pass. It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "
