We received a call 30 minutes before 3 pm check in. Our first night’s stay had to be cancelled. Due to A/C problems. We were told to find another hotel for that night. I demanded they make me a reservation for that night next door at their expense, at worse the same price. The response from the clerk was that is not Marriot policy. The Hotel manager said my request was discussed up the regional hotel manager. No adjustment could be made. Marriot cost my family time, stress, inconvenience, and an additional $30. Marriot stays in our future? I don’t think so.
