'This is the first hotel ever where they ask you every day if you are happy with your room or if you have any complaints. My room was clean. The service you get from the staff is excellent. I will definitly come back. The location was perfect. Walkable to Java House and CJ's, supermarket. And it is easy to get an Uber to go to the shopping malls. Very nice and helpful staff, thank you Gillian, Anthony, Jacintah and everyone else who works at the hotel.'

The room was big enough, and included tv, complementary water bottles, housekeeping twice a day, and a safe. The pool was nice, they provided big towels when swimming. The restaurant is good, great breakfast buffet, lovely Indian food for dinner. All in all the staff was the best thing about the hotel, and a lot of security to make you feel safe. '

'The Heron Portico is a nice upscale hotel in Nairobi. Conveniently located in a quiet area. Staff is friendly and willing to assist, just that the pricing for an extra person is outrageous (50%). It is well furnished and has a pool, a spa and a gym.'
