'We had a lovely stay at Kanazawa Zoushi! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, including a drying function in the shower area that helped us dry off our damp clothes and shoes from the rain (genius idea!). The breakfast each morning was delicious and filling, perfect to start our day of activities. Our food allergies were accommodated as well (we greatly appreciated that!). 'Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the manager Bill who made us feel welcome. He showed us and told us the things we needed to know. Though the apartment isn't big, it was quite complete and looked very new and nice. The bedroom had 2 double beds that were a little too small for 2 adults. Also a readinglight would have been nice, but we noticed that that isn't common in Japan. But there was enough closet space, which we liked. The location was good. There was a nice shopping center on walking...

'Lovely neighborhood, centrally located, and clean space. There was a helpful map included in the room. Most major points of interest in Kanazawa were a reasonable walk from the location. They ability to do laundry was nice after the busier parts of our trip. It is nice to have an option to sleep on tatami or a modern bed in the same space.'

'I am not sure what to write. Location perfect for sightseeing, free parking, spacious room (the suite), quiet (good sleep) and clean. Communication with owner upfront good. We had a request for a more continental breakfast and it was hard to explain. Must say, staff tried their best to meet our wishes. Bed was a bit hard for us, but that is personal taste. In the end nothing to complain and a lot of pro’s but we didn’t feel it, but no cons so if you search in this location, this is a good hotel...

'This is an amazing Ryokan. Close enough to the main attractions but a bit away from the modern parts of the city. It faces the Sai River and has trees, green spaces and walks around it. The rooms are spacious with Tatami mats. We took a suite and while the rooms had a Japanese feel it had western amenities. The breakfast was very good a the staff was helpful. The rooms had a full length balcony from where I sketched the town across the river.'
