'The property was beautiful, with everything we needed. And the pool was amazing! We all enjoyed swimming and chilling in the hot tub. We were able to walk straight up Thorpe cloud and into Dove dale, and look forward to being able to visit again to explore further. Many thanks to hosts, Ray and Julie, who were friendly and helpful. '

'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was small but very comfortable and it had everything that we needed. We especially loved having the espresso machine and the instant hot water. The views from all the windows were outstanding. The local home owners that we met were very helpful and provided some tips on things that they recommended to do.'

'All check in details were emailed promptly by the owner and we found the property easily. We had a long weekend stay for a festival in the area and it made it very easy to travel to it each day. A great flat, nice lounge and comfy bed. Lovely self catering space '

'Lovely cottage, has everything you need for a quiet getaway. Host is really nice and the area is lovely. We had two dogs with us and they loved the enclosed field to run around in. The surrounding villages are nice to visit and plenty of pubs and public trails to check out. All in all a perfect holiday. We Will be coming back. '

'Loved our stay at Ranmoor! Very high quality property with excellent beds, brilliantly equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens in a very convenient yet quiet location. We ate at the Fish Pond pub - highly recommend the nasi goreng - and went to the Heights of Abraham, Cromford and walked locally across the hill to Matlock. This area has a real holiday feel about it. Very good communication with Petra, who left a bottle of delicious rosé and some biscuits for us. Thank you very much! Katie, Neil, Jean...
