'The hotel is very well located in Cairo and has a beautiful view of the Nile. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The breakfast is varied and they also had typical Egyptian specialties. The 3 restaurants are super tasty and we recommend the Grill enough! The room service was also on point. The only downside were the noisy events on Friday and Saturday until late at night. We definitely recommend this hotel!'

'All staff are extremely friendly and service minded - worthy of a 5-star accomodation. The rooms are a bit tired, although comfortable. Bathroom small - if you are over 1,80 you will not be able to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. Hotel is beautifully located and the gardens are an absolute pleasure to spend some warm evenings enjoying a drink or waterpipe. '

'Het hotel ligt centraal, het Egyptisch museum, de metro, winkeltjes etc zijn dichtbij. Het gebouw zelf is een beetje spookachtig omdat diverse verdiepingen niet in gebruik zijn. De staf is vriendelijk, maar er worden te hoge tarieven gevraagd voor taxi's, excursies e.d. Voor een taxi naar het treinstation vroegen ze bijvoorbeeld 80 Egyptisch ponden, terwijl je 20 Egyptische ponden betaalt als je op straat zelf een taxi staande houdt. Straat waarin het hotel ligt ziet er niet uit, maar de buurt...

'A neat affordable welcoming hotel in a quiet neighbourhood on the island of Zamalek. Moving around requires taxis while in Downtown or Dokki one might be closer to a metro. But taxis in Cairo are very affordable, only during part of the day the traffic is slow. Soon there will be a metro station on Zamalek too. 'I checked in late but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I got the room that I booked with the amazing unobstructed view of the river. I had some laundry and it was done at a very cheap price. The room was neat and clean, the terrace is large and private, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large and newly renovated. The staff is really caring, attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. '

De airco (enigzins lawaaiig zorgde voor een fijn klimaat op de kamer. De bedden zijn uitstekend. Het ontbijt is goed met heel prettig personeel. Dit hotel is een aanrader. '
