'Un très bon point de chute pour visiter la région de Avola. Le personnel est très sympa et toujours de bonne humeur. Les chambres sont de belles dimensions, propres et confortables. Il me semble que le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré par l'apport de fruits de saison ( seules des pommes étaient disponibles). Au final un endroit idéal à quelques pas de la mer et pas loin du centre-ville. Pas de soucis pour se garer. Une adresse à retenir.'

'Hotel Gutkowski ligt op een prachtige plek in het wonderschone Ortigia! Het team is erg vriendelijk en de kamer is prachtig. Mooi gerenoveerd oud pand met heerlijk bed. Het ontbijt is zalig en als je wilt kun je s'avonds ook nog eens prima eten op het gezellige terras of in het restaurant. Parkeren is vlakbij mogelijk en vanuit dit mooie hotel wandel je zo het prachtige Ortigia in.'

'Beautiful modern hotel and beautiful room on 2 floors (sitting room/bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs). Great amenities. Only detracting factors are that the room was a bit dark (the hotel is in a narrow alley), and that the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is a bit inconvenient at night. The hotel is quite difficult to reach by car (Google maps will send you to an alley where it is impossible to turn or maneuver), so it is best to leave the car in the nearby Piazza...

'Nanni was the most gracious host I have had the pleasure to meet. He went out of his way to pick us up when we were lost as a taxi would not come get us. His breakfasts were delicious and different each day. The rooms were spacious, clean and the view was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this B&B and hope that I will visit again soon myself.'
