Second time staying here. A clean and well kept property. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very helpful and polite staff, who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Another great Protea experience. Would definitely recommend this place.

The beds were really comfortable, the shower, water pressure and temperature was very welcoming. The food in the restaurant was enjoyable and the bar looked nice, however i didnt have time to partake. The service was good, and accomodating as i had an early departure and a breakfast "to go" was prepared. Peter, the manager was extremely helpful and assisted with a small matter, it was addressed and settled.

there was no electricity in the hotrl at night so i couldn’t sleep whole night. there were 2 electricity cut during the stay. culdbt even walk in the lobby at night. needed a torch to walk

The Hotel is the best hotel in the area and it is centrally located. The staff are well trained and always pay attention to guests. It does not have a gym which is unfortunate. On this particular trip the wifi was not reliable.

I always stay at this hotel as in my view is the best. From the time you walk in the team just cant do enough for you. Food is excellent & good fast wifi in all areas. Shuttle service good.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and we were impressed with the quality of services. Transfer from Ndola Airport was organised and although we landed 1h late the driver the driver was there when we landed. The rooms are clean, staff very friendly and the food is nice. Our departure time was before breakfast but the staff organised a take away box with everything we needed to have breakfast on our way of Ndola! We will stay there again

Very good for the area
All things considered, this is a very good hotel for the area. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the area. The staff is always friendly and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a pleasant stay. Mattress was on par for a hotel, sheets were a bit stiff/scratchy compared to others I have stayed at in Africa (perhaps I got a new set?), but I got used to them after a couple hours and they didn't disturb my sleep. Amenities in the room are satisfactory. I lost my phone so I would have liked an alarm clock, but it was easy to phone to front desk at anytime to schedule a wake up call that was always on time. The WiFi isn't high speed by any means, but for the area it is very good and pretty consistent (for the area). The hallway can be a bit loud at times, but this isn't uncommon. All the doors slam automatically though, and this can be disturbing at times. I got into the habit of gently closing my door to be considerate to others, but it seems I was the only one. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and this is the only hotel that I consider in the area.

Breakfast can be improved. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel is very clean. The WiFi required multiple logins which was slightly annoying.

Interior design beautiful
This hotel is good, the interior design is both comfortable and thoughtful reflecting its location in the heart of the copper belt. For me it is let down by the bedrooms - quality of finish, lack of attention to details and ineffective soundproofing. My toilet was not screwed to the floor properly or had come loose. The main light switch was at the door and couldn’t be switched off near bed. It was expensive and beautiful, staff were excellent and the highlight for me were the very lovely gardens.

Comfortable and quiet
The beds were extremely comfortable, and although the hotel was quite full, the hallways were very quiet. The staff were very responsive and friendly. Great for families too. I would definitely stay here again.
