Zeer mooi en vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel.
Het complex heeft meerdere soorten luxe huisjes die zeer compleet en schoon zijn, de eigenaar en het personeel zorgen dat het je nergens aan ontbreekt. Het zwembad was heerlijk. We hebben een mooie rondleiding gekregen door de groente, fruit en kruidentuin. Het ontbijt is er heerlijk en er wordt fruit uit eigen tuin geserveerd.Ook heeft de eigenaar oog voor het milieu en probeert hij te verbeteren waar dit mogelijk is!

Great first two nights in Sri Lanka
Great place to get your bearings in Sri Lanka. The owner was very helpful in everything: sights, arranging dinner and taxis. Personnel was very helpful and breakfast was great.

Great service and amazing area
Stayed at this great place with my wife and two daughters. Villa Shade has excellent service and is in an amazing calm area close to Negombo city. Walk, run or borrow bicycles to get to town or Negombo beach. Or simply stay in the clean pool within the premises, play basket or badminton.

Lovely well kept grounds and spacious clean villas. Nice pool and other activities basketball badminton. Owner kindly let me have a late checkout as my flight wasn't till 8pm. Not much in immediate area but tuktuks can be arranged and selection of restaurants deliver to property. Highly recommend for a night at start or end of trip.

Personnel attentif au moindre de nos besoins (visite de Negombo et de ses environs avec chauffeur de tuk tuk sympa et anglophone) y compris sans demande de notre part. (boissons au bord de la piscine, mise à disposition de notre chambre au delà de 12h le jour du départ) Joli jardin (Hotel bien nommé) et piscine.

Greedy hotel owners
Terribly hot in the room, and the hotel charges $8 to use the air condition! A lot of mosquitos, so impossible to be outside or to have the door open. Significantly over charges airport transfer. Clean room, that was the positive about the hotel. Over all the worse hotel in our Sri Lankan vaccation, not recommended!

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your complements on Expedia following your stay with us at Villa Shade, Home Stay, Negombo Sri Lanka. 90% of our guests enjoy staying under the lush garden with the topical climate at Villa Shade Luxury Villas, with large open windows fresh air circulating with fan only. Therefore it’s not fair to include the fee for A/C facility with the room fee from all the guests. That is the same reason we have kept the A/C facility as an option only for the needy ones with an extra fee. Due to the Topical climate with the sun rise in the morning from 6.00 am to 7.00 am & with the sun set from 6.00pm to 7.00pm there can be few mosquito's in the garden. We do have taken many precautions to minimize the mosquito's in the garden & there can’t be any mosquito's in the rooms as we have set the mosquito flaps for the doors & windows.. Airport Transfers we used reliable and guaranteed Vehicles and drivers , sometimes you can find a cheap quality transportation for cheaper rates It would be great having you back with us for another wonderful stay on your next vacation to Sri Lanka. Toller Bungalow in Negombo
Die erste Nacht nach unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka haben wir in der Villa Shade verbracht. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit offener Gartendusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber und der Eigentümer sehr bemüht. Die City von Negombo ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von der Villa Shade entfernt. Tuk Tuk und Taxi wurden organisiert, wenn erforderlich. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka.

Home Away From Home
Spent my birthday at Villa Shade. Mr. Shiraj, was so kind to have me checked in so early because my flight arrived in the midnight. He make sure that I am comfortable within my stay. He arranged a tuktuk to drive me around beginning and arranged ayurvedic full body massage at Jasmine Villa which is so relaxing. His staff were friendly and always smiling. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was prepared when I woke up which is good. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful stay.

Wonderful family run property
We only were able to stay one night, we wished that we had more time. Stunning property carefully run by a husband and wife who clearly enjoy and love their business. "If you're happy they're happy" very tentative and helpful in every way. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and it's in a quiet area, highly recommend!

This is the place to stay in Negombo!
I stayed at Villa Shade on a quick stopover on my way to India. It was lovely. The hosts and staff were kind, keen to help but also gave me my privacy. This is the perfect spot to just chill and lay by the pool, sit in the beautiful gardens and read. The power went out in the main house so I was moved t a self contained villa. Very comfortable and private. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé une nuit. La chambre était bien, ainsi que le petit-déjeuner. Le jardin, magnifique et les propriétaires ainsi que le personnel, compétents et charmants, ne sachant que faire pour nous satisfaire. Le tout est très propre et bien entretenu. La piscine est très agréable. Des vélos (ainsi qu'un plan de la ville) nous ont été prêtés pour que nous allions découvrir Negombo et son marché aux poissons. nous avons pu nous rafraichir dans l'après-midi dans une salle de bains alors que le check-out était déjà fait. On nous a offert un thé pour patienter avant notre départ. On nous a prêté un ordinateur pour avoir internet car nous avions des problèmes avec nos téléphones.

Quiet retreat
We enjoyed our stay at villa shade very much. It is a bit far from town and there is nothing to do in the area. Perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the garden. Very helpful staff. Recommend the take a way food just down the road, the staff will advise you and take you there. It would be good if they sold some snacks and drinks which may encourage visitors to mingle in the common area with perhaps some books and travel guides. Overall highly recommended
