Some of the customer service had bad attitudes, very unfriendly. They act like they didn't want be there. Need more customer service training. My second time there, my first time i had a wonderful everyone was nice. Second time around was not happy, will not go back.

The staff was so accommodating! The entertainment was cool. There was no top shelf liquor. The ambience was nice but the property itself was old not taken care of. The pool was not maintained, the room smelled musty and urine in the bathroom. I asked to be moved I didn’t get moved until the 3rd day and at 4pm. The food was mediocre here. I feel like this resort shouldn’t have been $500 ish a night. More so like $250-300 a night Reminds me of an upgraded motel 6. I won’t be back.

The toilet stopped working . The swim-up was inoperable water was very low , dirty and unfiltered. There was even food (piece of chicken) inside of it. I could not use it and they were aware of this issue before I checked in but still charged me for it. My sister’s swim-up was fine! I was told numerous time is would be fixed but on my last day they told me that there was an on going issue. And I’d have to wait for someone to reach out to me for compensation . It’s been a week and no one has done so.

Our hotel room was absolutely disgusting! The service is atrocious. Our toilet was broken the whole time we were there and I called numerous times and they did not do anything about it. We had to call for towels every day once they cleaned the room they never replaced towels. Overall the hotel is run down and disgusting!

This hotel is perfect for families with teenagers! They will love it there as it caters to that age. The rooms are unique and the property is small and everything is convenient. The beach is separated into sections and it’s not a wide beach, but is sufficient and staff does a good job at raking any sea grass that comes to shore. Some of the bars have good and fast service but the main pool bar does not! Only diamond club members can make reservations for dinner restaurants and the buffet was the same everyday, which is good if you like to know what to expect. There are activities and nightly entertainment. The coffee and ice cream shop were popular and good. I would stay there again primarily because it offers a lot and is very convenient because of its small size.

For a luxury hotel, I’m not sure Royalton Negril fits this category. Upon arrival, the check-in process was very smooth the reception team were all very professional, friendly and knowledgable. The room was not cleaned well: the showers, bathroom and floors felt dirty. The swim out terrace area was not cleaned: the loungers, chairs, cushions and floor area were not cleaned when we arrived and were consistently dirty during our stay. We had requested a “mostly sunny” swim up suite and there was barely any sun at our pool. The whole purpose of paying extra for a swim up suite is to enjoy the privacy of having our own pool area (with sunshine) when needed. The restaurant food is very average (the jerk “chicken” hut was delicious and the food truck was also pretty good. The alcoholic drinks were not good, the quality of alcohol (and food) was not “luxury hotel” standards, and some drinks were not even drinkable. The Vibes team and the Water activities team did GREAT and worked very hard to make sure people were having a great time. The sailing instructor (white sunglasses) was fantastic. The grounds are ok but majority of the hotel (including diamond club) faces north and east, They clearly have nicer, more lush grounds (and suites) at the Hideaway and Great Lido side - which are both adults only. The drive is one hour from the airport, so I really expected more wow. The hotel was not cheap but it felt cheap, not luxurious. It was not worth the hour drive.

As returning guests, we were eagerly anticipating our third stay, particularly in the luxurious Presidential Suite. However, our recent experience fell short of our expectations, leaving us with mixed feelings about our visit.While the suite boasted opulent amenities, such as spacious accommodations and elegant decor, we encountered numerous issues that detracted from our overall enjoyment. Most notably, the faulty doors within our suite proved to be a persistent inconvenience throughout our stay. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, including a visit from maintenance, the problem persisted unresolved. This rendered accessing certain areas of the suite cumbersome and frustrating, as the doors would only partially open, requiring us to maneuver through narrow gaps.Additionally, we were disappointed by the inconsistent water supply during the initial days of our visit. Although we were informed of water conservation efforts due to a purported drought in Jamaica, the sudden restoration of full water pressure coincided suspiciously with the repair of a burst water pipe outside the hotel. This discrepancy raised questions about the transparency of the hotel's communication regarding the issue.Furthermore, while the culinary offerings at the Royalton Negril remained abundant and delectable, we observed a decline in the quality of room service compared to previous years. the resort's dining options continued to impress, showcasing a diverse array of culinary delights.

Pros: The staff is very friendly, Food was great at the Buffett. Gym Facilites very nice. Cons: Waited till around 0530 to even get our room at check in when we arrived just at 0400 check in is supposed to be 0300, First room was not what we paid for and dirty, second room smelled like mold. At that point was too exhausted to keep moving rooms as we travelled all day with children, we kept the second room and slept with the patio door open and aired out the room during the day. When we told them the room smelled like mold the only response we got was "thank you for telling us". Mini Bar was not stocked on check in and not stocked 2 days in a row after that, had to call the front desk to get water stocked. If you don't upgrade to Diamond you cannot make reservations to the restaurants, its first come first serve and if you try to dine after 630pm you can be easily waiting an hour for a table which is inconvenient with small children Beach had ALOT of seaweed Definitely not enough chairs by the Pool OR the beach Overall not impressed with the Royalton Chain, we vacation at all inclusive 2-3 X a year and this is the first time we stayed at a Royalton. My expectations were alot higher especially for the price point and for future probably would not return to one.

My husband and I was very uncomfortable during our stay due to the air conditioner in the room was broken. We brought this to the personnel on staff within a couple hours of our arrival and a maintenance worker came at 1:00 am. Of course, we asked the gentlemen to come later in the morning. The same gentlemen did return and stated that he fixed the air conditioner but it would turn on for 2 minutes and shut off. The next day, the manager over maintenance came and addressed the matter. He too failed to get air conditioner working. He stated, someone supposed to come and complete the work. That person never arrived. The customer service desk never called to follow up with us. We had to continue to update them. One young lady named Alana did try to accommodate us and get us another room but another person intervened in her attempts and stated someone would come fix the air conditioner. Our last day we was able to speak to a manager. Which we had requested one the second day of our arrival. We was told they have to follow the chain of command. Management at that time came to conclusion on how to make up for our inconvenience. As far as cleanliness, there was hair that was not of my or my husband's hair texture throughout our room. Also, at the Italian restaurant everyone included at my table was asked to inspect our water glass to ensure it was clean. Most of the staff wasn't attentive to customers unless they was a member of the "Diamond club".

We booked the Penthouse suite with the private plunge pool, and the plunge pool was filthy. The room needs renovation. We paid over $1000/night for this awful room. Romaine from room service went above and beyond for us, but the rest of the staff (including the butlers) provided average service.

50 the man that works at the excursions was literally our right hand the whole time, he was amazing. Shaniece was a great driver that looked out for us during a full Day driving trip, she was really helpful.. O Shane was a great bartender & Sabrina from The spa was very helpful. Neckola was a great cocktail waitress and was so happy to assist us. The whole staff was really nice and the vibe team But on a good show .. Ok with that being said quick review on the actual hotel: It’s pretty, well manicured and exactly what I expected. Food was hit and miss and I just suggest the buffet to be honest bc they have just about everything you’d want. The drinks were a bit watered down and syrupy for my liking, we actually just stopped drinking them, which sucks at an all inclusive. The brands they had were mids at best.& We didn’t get to go w diamond bc they were sold out. It’s a lot of walking which is to be expected. Very family friendly and the seaweed was well managed.

Very easy to navigate. Food was good overall. Specialty restaurants were great. Room service was out of options a lot and our building was out of hot water for 2 days. Locals were pesky but overall was a good experience.

Property is good buy facilities were very unsatisfactory. During the stay, there was constant issue with air condition , hot water and water supply. Twice water shut off during the shower. Hot water was not available. Water pressor was very low. I would not stay at this resort or recommand to anyone.

Upon our arrival we were out in a room that have a thousand bugs so they loved us and our toilet wasn’t working. We called and no one came until the day before we left and they said it was fine (it wasn’t) the power kept going out. They ran out of certain foods. We didn’t have hot water for 3 days. Will not be recommending or going back to that resort.

First time staying at a Royalton property and first All-inclusive. Some aspects of the property could use a fresh touch. Although everything was functional. The restraunts and service went above expectations. The main issue was the lack of hot water and water pressure in the showers. My wife, who has long hair, was unable to wash her hair in the shower during our visit and resorted to washing her hair in the bathroom sink. Also, our "fully stocked" bar consisted of a bottle of merlot and a couple of mini beers in the mini fridge. Overall, the experience was positive.

I went to Jamaica for a funeral and stayed at Royalton for seven nights. The intake process was smooth, take a seat and the receptionist comes to you. While you're sitting enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean. No need to stand in a line. The room looks exactly as it does in the brochure/online, spacious, clean, bath robes and bed slippers provided. The daily and nightly entertainment was excellent. If you are a runner, no problem, you have a choice of running in the sand on the long stretch beach or running on the updated treadmill in the 2-story gym. Yoga, kickboxing fanatics can enjoy the daily classes. So, bring your gym clothes to this family friendly cool vibes property. I saved the best for last, the food. OMGosh, the food choices were overwhelming. My compliments to the chiefs. Any property that takes the time to have a children friendly buffet section, gets an A in my book. I will definitely be going back to Royalton Negril, where you find paradise.
