We were put in the room next to Reception. On the first night, the noise from behind the reception area was excessive. On the second night of our stay, we made staff aware of the problem at about 7 o’clock and the noise mostly from young children was stopped.
Our room was supposed to be an invalid room, even though we are not invalids, there was a 6 foot and 3 foot bed in the room. The 6 foot bed was slammed against the window so unless you are prepared to jump across the bed couldn’t get into bed. Consequently, my wife slept in a 3 foot bed. 3 foot bed was too close to the door to the bathroom. So anyone in a wheelchair would not have been able to get into the bathroom. The door to the bathroom squeaked! At Reception on leaving we told the staff of the issues with the room and they apologised and said they were aware of the problem and thought it had been solved. Obviously the hotel it’s not managed properly.
