'What a gem this is! Clean and comfortable is just the beginning. From a well appointed kitchen to thoughtful little things like spare reading glasses, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in hosting. And the cottage is just darn cute!! The outdoor spaces really made it, from the patio set that was perfect for our morning coffee to the private covered firepit with cosy chairs and blankets where we enjoyed a rain storm. 'Michelle was so helpful and kind after our plans changed with illness in the family. More than accomodating. The place was lovely and clean and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. My only comment would be that the mattress on the murphy bed wasnt that comfortable and perhaps they would comsider replacing it or putting on a topper. Other than that it was perfect and we'd love to come again '

'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'We had a wonderful time staying here. It was great meeting Bev, who was very friendly and helpful. The setting was spectacular and accessible for swimming (you need water shoes). The bed was comfy and there were so many little touches that we appreciated like the scones, jam, granola, bath robes, picnic basket...the list goes on!'

'We really enjoyed our stay at this property. As long-time ex residents of PR we found it was well located and very comfortable with lots of room. It had all the amenities we needed and more. We loved the outdoor deck and backyard. Our host Rebecca was very responsive and we enjoyed meeting her. We'd love to stay again someday.'

'Dave & Michelle's place is awesome. This place is stunning, as are the ocean views from the deck. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything anyone could want. We spent four nights here and could have stayed more. There are so many lakes in the area, and it is so beautiful in Garden Bay. Dave makes a great cinnamon bun and Michelle has some of the best Asian food we have eaten. You must try these. Communication was great and we can't wait to return. '

'We were so happy with our stay in the tiny home. Yes it is tiny but the layout is set up perfectly and makes the home feel bigger than it is. Our only regret is only being available for 1 night. Being close to the Saltery Bay ferry is a huge plus as well. The host Melanie is very attentive and helpful. The area put out a boil water advisory, and Melanie immediately dropped off clean drinking water to ensure we were still comfortable. I did feel bad as the checkout time on VRBO is set at 11am,...

'4 of us stayed at the Cabin for 3 nights. What a lovely experience! super-comfy, excellent surroundings, very quiet. It exceeded our expectations! It's absolutely isolated, a beautiful sanctuary in woods and a few steps into water. The windows and views are gorgeous. Kitchen has everything you need. We would be happy to come back later!'

'One of the most charming places I've ever stayed in. We were greeted with a bowl of eggs from the ducks/chickens at the end of the garden (which we promptly repaid with snacks) and the three small buildings were super clean and incredibly welcoming. There were a few minor bug/dirt related issues with the outside shower but nothing too bad at all. We look forward to coming to stay again!'

'This place is amazing! It was beautiful and clean, it was peaceful, and even though I had to get some work while on this vacation, it was just perfect to sit outside and enjoy the trees and the birds.Kathleen is lovely and sweet. I will definitely be back.'
