'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'The garden suite was very clean and comfortable as well as quiet and private. My family enjoyed our stay immensely. We spent a good amount of time on the covered patio enjoying the gorgeous view and ate meals out on the skookum picnic table. The host had a post it note on the door letting us know to make sure not to leave food outside. Very good advice to follow, as there is wildlife in the area. The location is close to Sargeant Bay provincial park which is a great place to swim. Bring water...

'We spent three great days at this location. It was a great spot for our stay, allowing easy access to hiking, a boat excursion from Earl’s Cove and golf at Pender Harbour. The accommodations were perfect for us: a well-equipped kitchen, separate bedroom and living room and our own private hot tub. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We were very happy with this booking!'
