'The listing mentioned a wood stove. After messaging them, we learned the stove, which we were looking forward to was recently removed. The snacks were appreciated, but there were past their expiration date by a year. Otherwise the experience was charming.'

'We reserved this VRBO property thru Travelocity and that created communication challenges. Hosts bent over backwards to help with that. The dwelling was tight. We could not pass each other in the kitchen and the sliding bathroom door was less than 2 ft from the bed. The commode was just inches from the wall on one side and you had to sit sideways. It did not have a toaster as advertised.. we borrowed one. No paper towels or facial tissues. We bought our own. All that said, it was a superb...

'Clean cute cabbin. Very small though. There is room for 5 to sleep but no where to put luggage.'

'Bugs in the middle of January. Most of them dead. Varieties include flys, box elder bugs, and stink bugs. I had to kill at least one stink bug every day we were there. Absolutely disgusting the amount of bugs that were there when we 1st arrived. I messaged the host, but we never received a response to resolve the issue. I've included pictures for your own review.'

'We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect as we came to the Black Hills to ride the Mickelson Trail and enjoy the fall colors which were spectacular.This house is in a great location to tour through the Black Hills. Its very clean, quiet, spacious for two. We loved it and would go back again.'

'We were a group of nine adults in Rapid City attending a wedding. I was concerned about there being only two bathrooms, but there was a large mirror in the dining area and us six women could use that to fix our hair and apply make up. there is a nice outside area and in the morning we had our coffee and breakfast out there.'

'Super cute historic house. The steps leading upstairs are very steep and narrow (because they’re original to the house), so if you have small children or limited mobility it would not be a good option, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. The location was excellent, kitchen great (table seats 4), and overall it was a very nice stay.'
